Whether your child is just beginning their dance journey, or they are looking to continue their intermediate/advanced dance training, Expressions has classes that will help your child to develop their unique talents and gifts.

CLASS STYLES
Ballet
Ballet develops the discipline, grace, and technique that is the foundation for all forms of technical dance, as well as proper posture, placement, and alignment.
Tap
Tap is a percussive dance form that develops coordination and agility by creating syncopated rhythms with the feet.
Jazz
Jazz is stylized dancing characterized by its high energy, intricate footwork, and expressive movements. It focuses on developing proper technique, flexibility, leaps, and turns.
Acro
Acro focuses on flexibility, strength, balance, and agility. Students learn cartwheels, bridges, walkovers, and more.
Hip Hop
Hip Hop is a diverse street dance style originating from hip-hop culture and music, characterized by freestyle movements, improvisation, and rhythmic movements.
Musical
Theater
Musical Theater mimics Broadway performances and is based on Jazz technique. It is fun and energetic, focusing on expressing emotion and connecting with the audience.
Lyrical
Lyrical is a jazz-based technique that improves grace & fluidity in dance, giving voice to emotions through innovative movement. Lyrical helps dancers connect to their audience and tell a story.
Contemporary
Contemporary explores new movement possibilities that branch off from traditional modern, jazz, and ballet techniques. It teaches dynamics, movement quality, and improvisation.
PBT
Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT) allows dancers to improve their core strength and overall technique using various exercises and equipment.
Elev8 U
Leadership
Elev8 U is an age-appropriate leadership and character development course founded on self-improvement, emotional wellness, and leadership lessons.

All children develop classroom readiness at their own unique pace- and this is normal!
If you happen to see your child not opening up as quickly, taking longer to pick up skills, or wiggling a little more than their classmates, we know that this is regular behavior and we expect this! Our teachers see it all the time and are trained in ways to best help children with various learning styles!
If you ever have any questions or worries about your child's readiness or participation, you can always chat with your teacher or our Client Experience Team to address your concerns and ensure your childās needs are being met inside our classrooms.
