As we look back over the past 15 years at Expressions Dance & Movement Center, we are humbled and grateful for the growth we have seen. Not only has the studio itself grown, but we've seen exceptional personal growth in our students. Every child is unique, and we are witnesses to that every single day! We've watched students overcome shyness, make new friends, and learn the value of working hard. We have watched seniors who have grown up at the studio apply to college in our lobby while waiting for their next class, and go on to their next big adventure.

Together, we have built a community of support and belonging. We've come together while spreading out during a global pandemic and put on individual red-carpet recitals to celebrate each student who learned dance virtually over Zoom. Our staff has grown and modeled life-long learning with every professional certificate, training, and degree they have received. Our students have watched each other overcome obstacles, achieve goals, and dream big!

Expressions has grown from one studio room in 2011, to two rooms in 2015, to three rooms in 2019, added a satellite studio in 2020, and then added two more studios in 2022. Our team has been operating 6 classrooms across parking lots and down the street for the past 3 years. We are incredibly grateful that EDMC's Carlton Hills Studios & Cuyamaca Studio have been home to so many incredible memories in the lives of our dance families. It is time for Expressions to be united into ONE new dance home!
